Expose Walton County is designed to be a news sharing platform for citizen journalists and watchdogs who are fed up with the pervasive corruption, graft, and waste of taxpayer dollars in Walton County, Florida.
The site was created by Joe Turner, the former assistant county administrator who was hired on in October 2023. He was placed on leave in January 2024, and subsequently terminated, when they fired County Administrator Quinn Robertson.
In March 2025, Robertson and Turner were both arrested on two felony charges related to their accessing of a county-owned iPad that had been previously issued to a former employee by the name of Charles “Chas” Galloway. Galloway was politically connected to current and former BCC commissioners, Danny Glidewell, Mike Barker and Trey Nick.
