No Show ‘Somali Scott’ Brannon Does Not Use His Computer

We can add another piece to the puzzle and it does not pain a pretty picture about the work product of Scott Brannon, the Walton County Director of Governmental Coordination.

We requested the computer logs for Somali Scott Brannon’s work computer — you know — the one that is in the office that he never actually shows up to work at? Yeah — that one!

Here is the applicable text from our public record request (PRR 25-845) submitted on December 22, 2025:

A log of each instance in which he logged in and accessed his county computer workstation.

Please break it down by physical machine/IP address in the event he has VPN/remote login credentials where he can access his workstation via different physical computers

The date span for this request ran from July 1, 2023 until the date of the request – so approximately 2.5 years.

When we received the initial response last week it only featured an Excel spreadsheet that logged the dates Brannon signed into his work computer. The earlier entry was July 30, 2025.

When I inquired further, staff clarified that the software that allows them to track when employees sign into their computers was only implemented in mid-2025.

According to the data provided by the county, Scott Brannon only logged into his work computer on 15 days during the second half of 2025.

Here is the breakdown. It is pretty incredible to see it in print.

Now you will recall from previous posts that we requested dates of any PTO used by Brannon and he did not use any paid time off in 2025.

He is the “Director of Governmental Coordination” — not a public works trench digger or asphalt layer. I am pretty sure that his computer should be his primary “work tool”. How can you coordinate anything if you are never in the office, you never log into your work computer, and you never send an email?

Is he using carrier pigeons and the Pony Express to perform his duties?

Absolutely laughable that the Walton County BCC allows this charade to continue. And based off of reports posted by Suzanne Harris in some community Facebook groups, it is alleged that County Administrator Brian Kellenberger is aware of Brannon’s no-show, no-work status and has no plans to terminate Brannon.

It pays to be elected and connected in Walton County where the taxpayers are used and abused as they prop up and fund a Somali-esque welfare state for the Good Ol’ Boys.

When will the electorate wake up and start voting in leaders who will put the taxpayers first?

Your guess is as good as mine.

  1. Brian Kellenberger is afraid of the GOB and Clay Adkinson, that’s why he refuses to fire Brannon.
As long as Kellenberger is the CEO, nothing is going to change. We thought he would do the right thing but, he’s now public enemy #1.

    1. I hope you are incorrect and I hope the Facebook post by Suzanne Harris is inaccurate. I thought Kellenberger was a welcome addition to the executive office and I am going to be deeply disappointed if it turns out that he is enabling Brannon to steal from the taxpayers as part of his no show, no work job.

  2. Hello. We have some information but I do not know how to get a hold of the person who runs this site. I am nervous about leaving a name but I guess I have to leave me email
